Engineering Day 2022 at EDU

The Inter University Engineering Day 2022 competition was held at East Delta University (EDU) for two days, starting from October 20th. Around a hundred students and 41 teams from different parts of the country took part in it. The event ended on October 21st with a prize distribution ceremony.

The competition was organized by the EDU School of Engineering, and it was inaugurated by PHP Family Chairman Sufi Mizanur Rahman and Professor Dr. Mohammad Kaykobad, a famous scientist. EDU Vice-Chancellor Professor Muhammad Sikandar Khan was the chief guest at the closing ceremony.

During his speech, the Vice-Chancellor emphasized the importance of practice in developing talent. He stated that competitions like Engineering Day provide students with the opportunity to practice and develop their skills continuously. Professor Dr. Nazim Uddin, the Associate Dean of the School of Engineering, chaired the event, and Professor Dr. M Mashiul Haq, the President of Triple Bangladesh Section, and the Dean of CUET was the guest of honor.

Teams from different universities participated in the competition, including Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology, Chittagong University, Comilla University, and Patuakhali Science and Technology University. The winning teams of the competition were Dot Connect and Team Maso from EDU, Phantom Troop from CUET, Lilliputs from IIUC, Ternary Rooted Tree from Comilla University, Dynamic Spark from Ahsanullah University, and WAL-E from EDU.

The event concluded with a cultural program performed by the students of EDU. All the deans, teachers, and officials of the university were present during the event. The competition provided a platform for students to showcase their engineering skills and learn from their peers.
