East Delta University Celebrates Family Night

EDU Family Night

East Delta University (EDU) is more than just a place of education; it’s a family. The university staff and authorities prioritize the wellbeing of everyone working there, including students and their families.

On the occasion of Mother’s Day and Eid Family Night, the founder vice-chairman of the university, Sayeed Al Noman, spoke about the University’s efforts to support its community.

The event was a post-Eid reunion where all teachers, officers, employees, and their families gathered to celebrate together. Special guests, including banshee player Ustad Azizul Islam and his wife, Dr. Anjuman Ara Islam, were also present.

Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, the university ensured that its employees received their salaries and bonuses on time. They also provided special discounts for medical treatment and delivered supplies to the homes of those in need.

In recognition of the significant role played by 33 teachers and officials during the pandemic, the university gave them a cash award of 12 lakh rupees.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Muhammad Sekandar Khan, praised the collective spirit and teamwork of the University. The cultural program that followed the speeches included performances by university staff and guests.

The event ended with mothers cutting cakes on Mother’s Day and Eid Family Night. The university’s efforts to create a supportive and caring environment for its staff and students show that EDU is not just an educational institution, but a community that values its members like family.
