East Delta University collaborates with Eastern Bank

East Delta University (EDU) is committed to providing its students with the necessary skills to meet the demands of Bangladesh’s institutions and the country’s skilled workforce needs. As part of this mission, EDU’s Networking and Placement Cell recently welcomed Eastern Bank Limited to conduct written tests and interviews on campus for various important positions.

 

Over a hundred EDU students participated in the recruitment process, with Eastern Bank’s Head of People’s Acquisition, Riyad Hossain, along with other Executives, conducting the interviews. After the written tests in the morning, the interview phase began, allowing students to showcase their expertise in various soft skills.

EDU Founder Vice Chairman, Sayeed Al Noman, expressed his satisfaction with the partnership, noting that corporate institutions in Chittagong frequently hire EDU students for important positions. He also highlighted the importance of on-campus recruitment activities in inspiring other students.

Riyad Hossain praised the EDU students for their intelligence, efficiency, and knowledge of their own capabilities. He noted that the recruitment process was sped up due to the impressive qualities of the students.

EDU Vice-Chancellor, Professor Muhammad Sekandar Khan, thanked Eastern Bank for their support in the development of Bangladesh’s economy and human resources. He emphasized the importance of recruitment activities in enriching the job-seeking experience of students.
