Bangor University and East Delta University Partnership

Morgan Edwards, the Regional Manager for South Asia of Bangor University, was impressed by the impressive architecture of East Delta University’s permanent campus. On August 29, at 10 am, he visited the EDU campus in East Nasirabad with the intention of being between East Delta University and Bangor University, a long-established university of Wales founded in 1884.

Bangor University aims to spread new ideas and knowledge globally and is currently becoming a hub for talented individuals from around the world. By building a relationship with East Delta University, an internationally recognized institution in Chittagong, Bangladesh, Bangor University hopes to further its goal.

Mr. Edwards also expressed his desire to explore different ways the  universities can cooperate on student exchange programs and research initiatives while having discussions with EDU authorities.

Sayeed Al Noman, EDU’s Founder Vice Chairman, commented that joint activities with Bangor University would be a new addition to the university’s global experience and help make  students better, while creating unique opportunities for the people of Chittagong.

EDU’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Muhammad Sekandar Khan, emphasized the importance of knowledge exchange between universities, stating that it benefits both parties. Therefore, Bangor University’s interest in forming a relationship with East Delta University is very positive.

In summary, the visit by Morgan Edwards marks the beginning of a potential partnership between East Delta University and Bangor University, which could provide exciting opportunities for students and faculty members of both institutions.
