The club has initiated a seminar series called ‘Futurescapes’ which serves as a platform for professionals to interact with students. The first seminar of the series was held on March 20th, and the Board of Management of UCB Stock Brokerage Limited participated in it. They shared their experiences, discussed internships, and institutional expectations as employers with the students. The seminar was well-received by the attendees.

The seminar’s guests stressed the importance of internships in gaining professional experience before graduation. Farid Uddin Chowdhury, the Head of Privileged Brokerage, said that internships are one of the most helpful ways to advance in professional life. Misbahus Sualahin Siddiqui, the Head of Imperial Brokerage, suggested that students should start preparing themselves for professional life from the beginning of their higher education.
When asked about the qualifications required for an internship at UCB Stock Brokerage Limited, Taskin Ahmed said that only three qualities are needed – enthusiasm, hard work, and dedication.
The seminar was organized by the Career Club at East Delta University, and it was well received by the attendees. The club’s General Secretary, Abdullah Al Arefin, and Executive Member, Nawar Mehjabin, gave an overview of the club’s vision and goals to the audience.
