Ayman Sadiq is the founder and CEO of the 10 Minute School and a dedicated teacher who visited East Delta University (EDU) recently. The Bangladesh-based, free online education portal offers thousands of video lectures, tens of thousands of quizzes, hundreds of live courses, smart books, and other educational resources for anybody wishing to advance their knowledge.
East Delta University made a warm welcome to Ayman and our honorable Vice Chancellor Professor Sekander Khan, Treasurer Professor Sham ud Doha, Vice Chairman Mr. Sayeed Al Noman wholeheartedly greeted him and his entire team.
Following a general meeting session with the governing body, faculties and admins, Ayman was given a tour of our beautiful and mesmerizing green campus. Upon Ayman’s arrival to the university, a cake was ordered by our Vice-Chairman.
Followed by lunch, Ayman met with our highly enthusiastic students who were very excited at his arrival. Students had back to back questions for Ayman. They were very inspired by his views on life, career and ambitions!
The recent Dhaka University graduate was honored with the Queen’s Young Leaders Award 2018 and the Asia Pacific ICT Alliance’s Best E-Learning Award for his institution.
His visit to East Delta University encouraged our students to stay present until the end of the session and open up their minds to different career goals, ambitions, and passions in life!
Ayman recommended students begin brainstorming methods to enhance their resumes as soon as possible so that it is fully formed by the time they enter their final year.
Every year, 10 lakh graduates join the workforce, 37% of occupations will be unknown. For these professions, students need to acquire adaptability skills including critical thinking, problem-solving, and team building.
He suggested handling criticism in line with Google CEO Sundar Pichai’s “cockroach theory” for personal growth, which calls for deliberate reactions as opposed to emotional outbursts.
Students informed Sadiq of their activities at East Delta University’s 17 clubs, which included debate, recitation practices, brainstorming on start-up enterprises and outsourcing, and spending time with the elderly at retirement homes.
Ayman motivated the students to follow their dreams and passion. He also encouraged them to never stop learning, because the more you learn the more you can excel in your strengths!
EDU would love to have him around on various occasions because he remains a powerful impact on all students who are ambitious and dedicated towards a bright and challenging future!
